I just rub them on my wifes unshaven thighs, that hones a real edge, she does her bread knife this way too...

this stand was purchased from entec a few years ago £ 125 and it mounts around a 6 inch grinder 5 mins to sharpen a set of blades it payed fot it self in a couple of months , it gives a concave finish .

I pay that for each Jo Beau blade, but they have to be sharpened on both sides. Now have 3prs for that, so not realy worth the hassle of trying to sharpen my own, better things to do with my time, and it keeps someone else employed in the workshop.
