And Rich is black balled for the Prius suggestion, even in jest....

A real motor would run on fossil fuels, better still, rare dolphins and pandas and lubricated with freshly squeezed seal pups.

:lol::lol::lol:

Get yourself a disco commercial. Landy all the way baby.

Pull push, dig, drag, and pretty much push anything that gets in the way.

Thought I would put the silly suggestions out there as its a bit of a no brainier really.

Well there seems to be an overwhelming lean towards a pick up, or small van, thank you Harvey/Peter.

The battle between Want and Need will continue for a while yet, as long as it doesn't end in some rash decision brought about by a tortured mind, resulting in a prius with the roof cut off parked in the drive.

Thanks for opinions/suggestions, some of which may or may not be taken on board before being totaly ignored.

I'm off to my bed.

Sounds like you need a little van, Bipper, Caddy, or similar. There are loads of them to choose from, they are dirt cheap, comfy, economical and plenty of room for tools and and bulk bag of rakings.

Just what I was thinking, dirt cheap to run, very useful. A landy will cost you 26p a mile in fuel alone. Add another 10p for servicing, then what about financing the vehicle?

A Land Rover is great if you need it and a chain round your neck if you don't. If your in business you should not be investing in something that won't earn you money. If you did need a 4x4 the a Defender is a good bet as a work truck because of the high residuals.
