Total waste of money IMO and an example of over engineering to please a domestic market. How difficult is it to slaken the bar nuts!!! Also the mecanism is sure to break.

Ideal for the amateur.

Agree with huck, for the home user its great but no way will it last the life of the saw like the standard system does, i think its just a selling point for the DIY saws.

A client brought one of these out for me to check, and re-tension, as he couldnt work out how it worked. Seemed quite fragile to me, with a likelyhood to snap off if you became impatient. I wouldnt like it personally.

A friend of mine bought a baby husqy with it on and i found it quite difficult to get the correct chain tension for him.

Awful feature IMO.

As an amatuer home user my first thoughts were what a good idea i`ll pay the extra and get the new modern design tensioning system.

Even to me it looks very fragile and expencive looking to replace should it get damaged.

It`s starting to look like another saw purchase for me one with nuts and a white handle.
