Fantastic pics :thumbup: I have found Jews ear (is that pc now?) to be rather tasteless. David, is that a young Phallus? If so would it be the odd one out, ie not a jelly fungi, or are there others (Fuligo?) as well?

A. auricula-judae is technically 'jelly' ear these days.

 

& whilst we're talking technical, the thread is not strictly scientifically based (which the title kinda gives away :biggrin:)

& meant more as a homage to the gelatinous fungal 'type' :thumbup:

 

nice photo's, what is the one in the 13th photo?

 

They are the 'devils eggs' which are the early developing stage of Phalus impudicus
