I knew the stihl subject would come up,:001_tt2: so why are the filler caps so annoying. My new 200t petrol can leak sometimes, and every 200t oil filler cap has a habit of falling off and emptying oil all over my leg. Much prefer threaded ones

Only a slight niggle, i love my ms200 and 660 as much as my husqvarna's

and the case on the ms261 takes just as long to clip back on. why ae there caseings so flimmsy and why to the stihls sound so tinny:thumbup:

Makes me think if they can't b arsed with a durable paint job which is soo simple a task them wot other shoddy things is there ... 346xp is my fav small ground saw as well :)

Yep I used to think the same - it's not the look of it but as you say if the paint is no good it tends to make you question how good the bar is....

But I'm not sure the paint job is that relevant... I had some GB bars that seemed to lose paint quickly as do cannons black finish. Both were great bars.

P.S lost both exhaust bolts out of 390 and bolts out of Husky dogs.... never had one work loose on a Stihl!

Just purchased some thread lock capable of handling 250 deg centigrade - that should do it:thumbup:

If bolts keep coming out - why just slap them back in again, clean them and add a little locking compound and try again. If this doesn't work, try a locking washer:001_rolleyes::laugh1:
