I have the Collins Complete guide to British Mushrooms and Toadstools ISBN 978-0-00723224-6 is it worth me replacing it with this new book? :confused1:

Think I'll stick to the fungi ap ... Even a customer brought it to monitor her robinia frisia ,I did not tell her too she just found it... Couldn't find the fungus though so for Emily who just sent me a pick.

My guess is honey fungus /phytophera.

Can't really make it out clear enough from the shot Matty, any closer images?

 

Could be Armillaria, Coprinus or Hypholoma from what I can see from this rubbish phone.
