Been working in Wheathampstead Wednesday to Friday this week. Few pics from the job :thumbup1:

 

Got it all brashed out the first day, then all the timber down by lunch the second day. My first attempt at milling so go easy :blushing:

 

The main stem was too big for the 48" alaskan so had to be ripped down to size.

Nice one dan. Big tree!

 

It wasn't all that big as wellingtonias go here, it was more the volume that made up the size. 7ft (ish) diameter at felling height:biggrin:

Nice job, seriously thinking about getting one of them stabbing tools myself.

 

They seem pretty good, though cutting with the full length of a 48" mill takes some patience and stamina!
