Hi there, does anyone know what grade of oil the engine needs? Also what spark plugs this engine takes?

As for oil filter, hoping that there is some numbers on the old one to cross reference at the automotive shop?

Cheers Chris

Hi Chris, I just use Husqvarna 4 stroke engine oil in mine, and have never had any problems. I order my filters through Orange Plant and get them delivered.

By the way, have you been on e-bay again?. I saw the re-sprayed one on there.

Oil is 10W30 and from what I was told by kohler you shoudlnt but anything thicker in as it can damage the piston rings and seals. Plus you want to be very careful and never over fill it as the angles the stumpys work at can cause some hydraulic problems etc.All info from kohler.

Plugs are champion RC12YC

Filters, I just bought a load of kohler ones ages ago so cant help out on part matching sorry!
