Most boots will have a metal plate in the sole won't they? Its just i had a nasty incident with a blackthorn branch i don't wish to repeat lol :D

 

most decent boots will have some sorta under foot protection. I've always worn and all our guys (3) wear haix protecter pros an love em :thumbup:

Airstreams. Mine are approaching 4 years old now. I have a brand new pair in the wardrobe that I bought last June and haven't been worn yet because I can't kill my other pair. Worth every penny they cost me and then some.

They don't have the Gortex membrane through, dry feet makes life so much more pleasant, IMO.

 

Had mine three years never got wet feet, just look after them and keep them polished.
