I am trying to keep my rattle in the pram, lucky the dummy is on a string or it would be on the floor by now.

Didn't know I was critising or assuming.

You said, "I only have 2 days on the books myself"

Then you said, " i have been back to basics for months now. food, water and shelter. if idont need to go anywhere i dont, if someone phones about work i ask how much are they going to spend, and when will they pay me. if it isnt straight away, i am not interested."

All I did was offer you advice by saying, "Bloody hell Shrek Junior, if I asked my customers how much they are willing to spend and when will they pay me I would never get work.

Perhaps that's where your going wrong, you have to put as much trust in your customer as they are putting into you."

You obviously took it the wrong way and told me how many houses you own and how much kit you have , I'm obviously going to come back at you if you adopt that tone :confused1:

I wouldn't say I was "Judging" "Assuming" "or "critising", after all, it was you who suggested we should ,

" as i said before on another thread, lets stick together, pass on advice and come up with some ideas"

Written text is easily mis-construed, read it back through slowly and see where it went wrong :001_smile:

Well I havent been to "work" today, well in the physical sense anyway. I have spent hours doing paperwork, checking in here, more paperwork, drinking coffee, then out this arvo nurturing a new client (which has paid off) Hopefully the New Year will herald a brighter future!! Good luck guys, think we're all going to need it!:001_smile:

I don't give a fig about work, I spent the day with my son in paradise [OK OK Orford ness] watched cormorants catch fish, saw gulls and other bird life dive for sprats, the seal wasn't around today unfortunately

And I came home with a freezer full of cod, caught by myself and the boy, stuff worrying about work!

i was laughing when i wrote that, you assumed i had taken it a different way, like you assumed i was into commercial work, you also criticised me twice saying i was doing something wrong. i was merely trying to let the previous guys know that the work situation is pretty similar all over the country. i explained why i was owed money. i am not eating bread and water in a cave, i am not also rolling in money, i have over stretched vastly in the last few years and now its time for me to knuckle down and watch my outgoings. i felt my comments might have given some re assurance to posts 4,5,6.
