Sorry that does not really answer your question.. The GTX for pretty much all climbing work seemed more comfy and better performing overall the tirolls are more of a forestry boot IMO . The GTX was just there take on providing a high performance quality boot and they achieved it.

well iv just ordered a pair of air tirrols. I very nearly went for the GTXs but as I do alot of hedgelaying/ felling etc and not just climbing I felt the tirrols were probably better suited to my needs as an overall chainsaw boot. time will tell on durability but I have heard only good things so far.
