Haha, sorry but it's always fun when people are on nights. I find that if they just say they are on nights we do try and work around them a bit.

If they need the afternoon to sleep we do a morning and go another job for afternoon. It's always good relations to be considerate to a degree.

If they come out swearing at us they get the full day of chipper non stop.

You remember i was on her ward, she was on nights, giggling and chattering into the wee small hours, then coming around with nasty meds and big needles and inserting cannulas just as I was eating my brekkie.....well payback is sweeeet

I have a customer, two guys in there 70/80's.

I called round to look at a small hedge reduction job for them. Before I left one said to me that the really appreciated the way we work, apparently another firm had been removing a largish conifer two doors away and the guy cutting kept revving his saw, they said "It was like the noise of his saw was some form of advertising, it really got on our nerves, you never make those kind of noises and your right in our garden!"

I wonder if his saw was blunt or he was just one of those muppets who gets off on revving his saw between cuts????

Never had a comment like this before.

I have to admit I do that with a hedge cutter, but not a chainsaw. Seen a few do it and never see the point.

Or just after they apply the chain break, why you have just knocked the handle on....
