also...forgot to add. Good fuel economy!

 

Everyone should really be singing the praises of Toyota land Cruiser but fuel economy isnt crash hot.

 

I read an article about a retired guy and his wife who did it in a Disco2 (Td5) with no problems. When they got to Australia they upgraded the suspension because of the tough terrain outback and the load they were carrying.

I've had a hankering for one of those for a while, just can't bring myself to part with the 90.

 

From what I gathered, they're pretty much a LWB pajero underneath with a van body - think the earlier ones were L300 bodies.

 

I bought a 1988 L300 4x4 when I got to Oz. She was pretty cool:001_cool: but let us down a lot:thumbdown:! Having said that there were no electronics so we could always fix any of the problems she threw at us:thumbup:!
