Unimog front mount type.

Thanks, that's useful info. I have seen quite a few Mogs with 9" Jensen on front so it must work.

I would prefer a Shliesing but the money is going into the Mog right now.

But are they blowing chip into the rear body????, they may just chip onto the ground or into a trailer.

Theres a 12" Jensen on earborist, but the shoot on that is not ever high enough to go over the cab, let alone long enough to fill the rear body.

I had a S/H Ducker without blower, it was fine in the winter chipping hard wood, but once the leaves were on or conifer it just kept blocking the discharge shoot, I had extra paddles fitted to the flywheel, but it still would not blow leafy chip properly. In the end I changed it for a brand-new Ducker with blower.

The Shiesling is the only front mount chipper I know of that will blow chip into the rear body without an additional blower.

dave, what rpm do you run the chipper @ ,what did you run the ducker @

Run my schiesling at 1800 rpm on the 1000 PTO, I tried the first Ducker at 2600 rpm 1000, but it still did not have enough blow, the one with the blower was great.

Over the years ive put, in order, a Farmi 250, Bandit 90, Farmi 250 (again), TP250, and finally a Jensen 141 on ths front of various unimogs- non have any problems whatsoever discharging chip into the rear chip bin- the Jensen could blow the chip another 30ft behind the mog without the aid of any futher modifications to the flywheel fan or addition of blower
