You may find you need an SVA test for it? Best thing to do is to get the Mrs to make you a brew and sit down and have a chat to dvla and see what they say!

V55/4 Good luck with it tho, it's a nightmare, you may find you can't actually do it or may need an SVA test, we looked at it for ride ons that had to move 100m up a road in the end we didn't bother..........

 

"A mate of mine" would just use the reg plate of "his" tractor......

I was thinking, buy a scrap road registered tractor, fill in a change of chassis No and engine No on the log book, send to DVLA and jobs a goodun :thumbup1:

doesn't that change require an SVA test these days? Might be very wrong though, bit out of touch with it all now I don't play with landrovers anymore.

Landrovers have MOT, tractors don't, so probably not a problem.

The Insurance company might well insure it through the serial no.

 

but it wouldn't be road registered by doing that, or am I missing something??:confused1:
