Business Breakthough

I was looking for a stump grinder and was considering spending around £15,000 on one, after some reasurch and a demo from Boxer I was very impressed.

Buying the Boxer has had a massive difference to my business All of a sudden I can bring trunk back to the yard all but eliminating logging into liftables. Then I have timber to mill new revenue stream is created.

The reason I bought the boxer was to grind stumps its been fantastic not quite as quick as a large dedicated grinder by plenty fast enough.

I made a blank plate with a tow hitch great for moving dumpy bags mounting the splitter(although I would like to make a bench), and moving the chipper is like a tracked chipper get any where.

Auger is attached to the front in the pic with my wife, drilling the holes for a fence it will drill up to a 36" hole! Great for planting trees Another revenue stream.

Grab is amazing move nearly 1 ton of wood in one go raised off the ground, drag nearer 2 tons with one end on the ground! It will move more brash in an hour than one man can move in a day! (with a medium distance drag)

High capacity bucket I odered this instead of the standard one it has a proper edge for scraping, great for moving wood chip and manure loading ect.

Pallet forks have been ok I don't use them a lot but there fairly cheep and when u need them there like gold.

I "ve seen all manner of hydraulic attachments for them and u can customise anything provided u have enough Hyd flow.

5 grand a year on the business for 4 years and its yours, its made me so much more profitable and able to compete with firms much larger than me. I can't imagine life without it.

Hope this helps some one.

I wish you hadn't posted this, i had just finished convincing myself i didn't need a boxer!superb bit of kit by the looks of it. and so versatile. Just think you'd pay £15k in wages for a groundy, when I think how much labour the boxer would provide for years to come its a no brainer really. Big Bolt on here keeps posting pics of his up with various attachments and it gets me thinking everytime!

hmmm aye looks mint but £15k wow, id love one but i doubt it would pay for its self let alone make me a proffit

Great bit of kit if you can use it most days!!

At last someone else who wears X-fit lol. Thought i was the only one :thumbup1:

I think if your just tree work then it all comes down to having the right job for it, but if you undertake say fencing as well as tree work I fail to see how this couldn't make anyone profit.

you can use it every day if you specialise in that type of work same as your mog in my line of work it,s way 2 big and heavy it would sit in the yard all the time , and costly horse's for courses

bliasey you need a guard on it like the 322

I'm doing this off the top of my head

Boxer and Loading shovel £16,000. ish +Vat it was 17.5 when I bought it

Splitter £450.00

Grab £1,000.

Auger £700.00 with 6"&10"

Stumpgrinder £3,500.00 not to sure if that included Vat Great wheel and teeth tho

Pallet forks £300.00

Blank Plate £40.00

Boxer 532DX has 55 ltr/per/min as alway u want more but thats the most out of all other machines of this size.

There is a garde in front of the radiator its just finer than the 322

I don't really do fencing maybe 5 jobs a year.

The next thing I planning on making is a whinch to tow myself up on a paraglider!
