samson rigging ropes??

hi i need to replace my rigging rope as it failed on the lowler inspection normally use yale double estron but honey bros are not selling it no more does any one use samson its meant to be the same as the yale helpppp pleaseee

Try Portland braid or polydyne i use 14mm PB for nearly everything and have some 16mm polydyne for big blocks , or who sells samson rigging line? as i'd like some 24mm stable braid

i will be trying the samson next though had a look on saturday at some, looked pretty sweet and felt workable, maybe a touch slippery? may work off!?.....

and i will be buying a length of yale portland also,

Who in the uk sell's stable braid? I want a 24mm dead eye like the one drew made for my large impact block

i had a loverly polydyne 14mm which got cut in half by the ground in about a week and i can't afford to replace it grrr whats the sirius 14mm bull rope like?

G&T i use 14mm portland for nearly everything its cheap and very good

just bough a length of samson stable braid 14mm, used it twice and very nice really, supple yet the fibres are tight just a touch slippery for now till it gets worked in, all in all impressed, feels better than my old marlow braid .....

I'm in need of a rigging rope at some point.... was going to look into 16mm as i like to knock some big'ish lumps out when rigging.... will look into the 14mm rope's aswell.

 

Is the portland braid etc miles better than the marlow?
