its fine for now, but its a one way journey from here in.

 

Looks like mechanical damage initially, just a guess as cars can get right up to it. Would have thought removal straight away myself, if its fine for now, at what point would you make the call to remove it? I do realise you do what you're asked to do, but just interested. Always very wary of leaving something like that standing.

todays job :001_smile: i get the feeling my luck will run out soon with nice trees to climb , i was subbing for this one and im sure there will be an ivy clad and dog rose ridden tree lurking round the corner !,

 

i think the story behind this one was a machine hit it a number of years ago and over the last couple of years its showing quite alot of stag heads , although it is in a bowling club carpark with cars being able to park right up to it so i guess compaction could be the culprit ? thoughts welcome :001_smile:
