Mcconnel bench saw blade.

Anybody know where I could get a new blade for our bench saw and or any tips where we could get the existing one sharpened in North Essex? She's bit of an antique but does the business. Also any indication of costs would be helpful.

Try Haydens Saws they are a pretty decent bunch and the prices are good.

We used to use a flat file and sharpen the blade ourselves on the saw, if it's a tct blade they were a bit harder and got sent away.

Haydens will sharpen you old blade for not slot of money. Certainly cheaper than a new blade.

I have a new blade kicking around that would fit, you would need to get a bush made up as the centre hole is a little larger than most McConnels, it is new but has a bit rust on it, pm me if you are interested
