how is it ash can be burnt when wet, as the mc is still the same as other wood when felled. or does this not apply with wood stoves any more.or was it just the poem

dont think its the same.....in my experience ash can be 25% whereas beech would be 35-40% [both green]

Oil. Fraxinus is a genus in the Oleacae family, which also contains lilac and olive.

doh cant be ash i just bought then, bought 2 trees that ended up as 4 loaded trailer loads of rings and stuff. the guys who felled them said they be ash.and mc was 36 on a branch the size of wrist.

There are always people who will buy it as they know the 'poem', but I would never sell it green, does'nt take long to dry and be worth more.
