Everyone one should watch this video!

50 years.... Very humbling stuff.

I'm only 29 and have my first child on its way. I want my grandchildren to be around and love life and nature!

I have always loved Giant Sequoias and have always said to myself that one day i will plant some, but have never got round to it. After hearing what David Milarch said towards the end of the lecture, i am going to plant as many as possible on my land.... Starting this year!

I planted some seeds a couple of weeks ago and 3 have sprouted just yesterday. I'm 39 now, but like the idea someday people might remember who planted them when they are huge..

why not plant natives? were talking about restoring OUR individual "natural nieghbourhoods" our lungs are all different eco systems, we need Oak and ash and beech, sorbus, cherry, elder yew etc etc

I'm planting them too. I hope to have quite a selection around my house , which hasn't been built yet. I'm working on my garden so far..

My dad owns 14 acres of mixed native broadleaf woodland - full of Ash, Cherry, oak, sycamore, yew, holly, field maple, etc. - so thats my 'natives' sorted!!

Why not plant sequoias?? They are my favourite tree for so many reasons... And as the video said; they are amongst the higest co2 absorbing tree you could plant.
