I had this on loan for a week and it worked pretty good for the trees we had to pull over, but not so great at dragging them thereafter. I'd read good and bad reports before trying it....and while I can now better understand the different points of view, I'll just keep my opinions to my self in this instance. Thanks

What is the rating of the winch? looks good, excellent demo vid. One concern I have when winching is to place a coat/sack/tarp over the rope, just in case of failure of the cable/rope. But I'm just being picky really.:001_smile:

I reckon your groundie could pull harder than that!

 

It looked like it was really struggling on no.2 even with the DWT.

 

Maybe no.2 sums it up!

Looks a little under powered Reg.

 

Perhaps this portable Villiers petrol winch will have a bit more power.

 

May have to have one more groundy to operate it though :sneaky2:
