Check out the Explosion fight Series on Sky tonight. Action from the O2 Arena a couple of months ago. The event has some great fighters on the card and look out for Iman Barlow. She is only 19 and already has a number of world titles.

I have an old VHS tape of two hours of Burmese boxing on it, it was purchased from master toddy in 1988 in Manchester, I remember watching it in astonishment:thumbup:

The series is organised by Kieran Keddle... Alan's bro, (but they fell out a long time back) He is an ex World Champ and now promotes, trains and keeps trying to have comeback fights.

 

The 18 y/old girl - Iman, is supposed to be the real deal. Not seen many of her fights but apparently she is impressing everyone and still only 18!

There are some fantastic fighters coming through the ranks and it's scary how young and how talented they are, as a fan it makes for brilliant entertainment

Robert my cousin used to train at Toddys before he set up on his own, used to rave about him all the time. I don't think Toddy was there all the time then but from what I've heard he was incredible.

I know quite a few of the early fellas who trained with Toddy and Master A in Manchester during the eighties.

My cousins called Peter Butler, He started training at Tony moores I thnk, then did bits at different gyms in the north west. He moved down to Norfolk a few years ago and opened a karate gym.
