Eh?!

No. I use Oregon Super Saw Chain Oil in the oil tank and stihl / husq / echo / redline 2-stroke oil in esso / texaco petrol in the fuel mix tank...

I meant the exhaust fumes from the 346 are absolutely minging, it's non x-torq engine simply stinks - loads of UHCs.

I've had my 550 for a few weeks now and on the whole I'm pretty chuffed with it. I was skeptical about the new generation saws to start with, but having used a 560 and now own a 550, they really do knock the socks off the 346 and the 357 in how they handle and how they pull in the cut.

Longevity wise, only time will tell.

yep same here love my 550 so far nothing to moan at and yes 346 is still a very good saw but for me the 550 has the edge have change change is good think the fuel you will save.

Talked to my usual supplier today about a new 346xp but they only have one left in stock and it is the xpg version. I choked when told the price difference to the xp. Said they would do it for £550 though. Dose that sound like a fair price? Like the idea of helping gloves stay dry :)
