Hilux 2.4td high mileage?

Our 1993 Hilux has approx 400k on the clock and runs like a dream. I am also getting constant offers from strangers for it. The wings are shot but it runs like a swiss watch. Best thing we ever bought. Probably worth the same as we paid for it after 5 years of ownership and hard use.

 

Very few issues. Handbrake siezed due to rusted back plates letting water in. Bonnet catch a bit sticky. New battery. That's it really.

my 98 with 170k the door switch for the interior light does not work was thinking of getting watch dog on the case does nobody make things properly these days:biggrin:

This is my p plate hilux its done 176 k and starts instant every time ,runns a1 and never lets me down ,its a tad slow but thats the 2.4 for you ,its also for sale

Ive got a 96 2.8 crew cab diesel, had it for 4 years now, its done 160 km, ive changed the radiator, rear leaf spring, battery and starter. Usual hilux probs inc RUST.........but get a mark 3 or under and you can do most jobs yourself coz there aint no elektrickery involved !!!!.........I'm getting a new HL3, but i aint givin up my worker.........its just too good to go !!

I paid 2.5 k for it off ebay.............ha ha **** myself, coz it only had a couple of photos, but you cant go wrong with em !!

my old hi-lux finally went to the scrappy with 245 thou. on the clock - a 1985 model that succumbed to rust
