hi all. i,v got a usa 346xp and need a new chain . i only use it to cut logs for burner . but i heard that as its an import i could have a prob ,.or do i need new bar as well. its an 18 inch bar.any pro advice would be great thanks:thumbup1:

should b fine id enagine,, if its a problem take the saw to your delear, but it on the desk and say can i have a new chain that fits that please sir, and id recomend a full chizel chain

I could be wrong but I think the 346xp in the US can be sold with a 'narrow kerf' bar and chain.

 

This means the bar is 1.3mm and not the usual 1.5mm and runs a different chain.

 

There should be some numbers stamped on the chain and bar which will give clues!

got old chain box it has measurements on that say .325 .050"/1.3mm. which is slightly diff to what timbercutter says .but would that size be ok.only 0.2mm out but me being a builder same village is normally ok.

1.5 would bind in the bar. Follow Rob's advice and look at the bar for the info. :001_smile:
