Just a quick one guys. I've been given a job to quote for and the first bit is to clear a load of leylandi so have got every thing sorted for that. Now for the real help the second part of the job is to clear the stumps I think there will be over 100 to do and I've been looking at the grinder hss hire. Have any of you used one like this before? What is it capable of doing ect time to do a small stump? Ta in advance for any help

Only reason for hss is I can get a really good deal on a weeks hire. Il be honest and say I never knew strathbogie did hire gear but il give them a bell cheers Volvo

100 Stumps.. I would contract that part out, if you know someone with a beast of a machine (70hp+) get them in for a day and put 1-150 on top and go and earn some more (easier) money elsewhere..... or hire in a small machine which will go blunt, and go kill yourself :)
