been thinking about a makita saw for a while now,is it easy to get spares for?or do you have to get them mail order. ta

the guy who i take my kit to orders the parts if needed. i snapped the choke lever off and i only took a couple of days for the bit to come through.

i would fully recomend that saw, i have had no trouble with it at all and its really gutsy

Not trying to be picky,but I would find a couple of days a real inconvenience, if one of my saw broke it would up and running again within an hour of me reaching my dealer.

fair point. its not my only saw but if it was it could be an issue.unfortunately with them being relativly unused there isnt the support network that we have with our other saws.but im prepared to take that risk.maybe one day they will be popular. id certainly buy another.i know what id rather have up the tree with me
