removed deadwood from 2 wellingtonia fir's today. Also measured them, the one on the left is 36m and the one on the right is 41m. Each tree took about an hour and a half.

I didn't take the camera up the first one as it is a very challenging climb, so all pics are from the tree on the right, bit easier to get up.

Stopped and had a nice smoke whilst looking out from the top of the world, then came down for some tea and cake. :001_tongue:

cheers guys, the one on the left is always a challenge, very little in the way of anchor points until you are at least halfway up...The other one is great, once you are 1/3rd the way up it is nice climbing all the way to the top.
