Husqvarna 560xp any good?

iam converted i was a stihl lover with a 200t 261 441 660 but know have all them minus the 261 and a 346 xp 357 xp and the new 550 xp iam now on the husky side of the fence.

i love my little 550 xp but it is noticibly louder than the 346. but whos worried.

 

A few have said that but I can't say I've noticed (but my hearing's not great anyway ) Nearly all my other saws have old type exhausts (with a straight tube rather than a spark arrestor) - do you think that might have owt to do with it?

Been carving with a pair of 357xps as my normal saws for years and I love them. Obviously have a variety of saws for big cuts etc. The other day I borrowed JohnP's 560XP for half an hour and gave it a good beasting. WOW. Just got to get one, impressive machine !

Recieved a kick in the chops from fr jones yesterday . After me gloating on here about getting a new 560xpg i got the dreaded phone call to say there would be none till the end of March. Went out on the pony to cheer myself up and got dumped twice within 5 mins , the second one face first into a big soft ploughed field Got in the house had a shower and a sit down when the cat jumped up on me with **** stuck to its arse . lucky white heather !

Savage. Hang in there. Well worth the wait. Had mine a week. Incredible saw - absolutely rips! Had to buy some uprated ear muff though, this saw is seriously loud!!

Had mine a couple of months now and been well impressed untill today ! Started paying up . Been using it with a 15" bar with no problems . Went up to an 18" and worked it hard in some big ash we felled . Just cross cutting thats all but using the full width of the bar and it just dies. It happened six times. Its like it just shuts down . Perhaps I have one of the early ones . We shall see as its going back this weekend .
