All the ride on mowers I have ever used have been very unreliable never picked the grass up very akward to load and gain acsess to site usless turn circle takes ages to turn round. They get pucntures flat batterys blades bend when hit sticks. The cut is very poor too never got one cutting lower than 2.5 inches or 65mm without scalping the ground. There are only three advantages they are quicker than one walk behind mower this does not inclued buggering about witha trailer in the morning and you can sit down and you can put more of the grass that its actually picked up on the compost. I think 2 men and 2 21 inch mowers are quicker do a much better job stripe the lawn and are cheaper to run quicker to load easyer to store use less fuel too ride ons drink like fish very easy to work on. To be honest I have only tryed second hand cheaper end ride ons but they still work out more expensive than 2 walk behind mowers. But remember when you spend 3 or 4 grand ona ride on & trailer that would take me and my labourer many many miles behind 2 walk behind mowers so I still think thats the most effeciant and best way to cut grass!
