Have a 2002 timberwolf, in desperate need of new infeed roller grab blades changing.

Any experiences welcome.

I assume that I need to remove feed hopper assembly to access rollers fully?

Any idea of cost for new parts?

Would expect to do the job ourselves, so any comments useful.

Cheers.

Yes you are correct, remove the in feed hopper to get into the roller box.

I would advise that you heat the bolt heads before you try and remove them. The round off very easily.

Hi StephF

The blades fitted to your rollers are held on with M12/30 countersunk Allen screws, coated with high strength Loctite and torqued to 80lb/ft.

Clear out the hexagon with a small screwdriver so the allen key will fit all the way in, try to keep the allen key square to the screw whilst turning the wrench anti-clockwise to undo.

If there is enough length on the blade you can re-sharpen to an angle of 40 degrees and reuse them.

If replacement is required it is always best to use Genuine replacement parts.

Replacement screws from Timberwolf have the Threadlock patched on the screws, and don't forget to torque them back up to 80lb/ft.

If you need further assistance please call Timberwolfs Technical helpline 01449 765820
