A lot depends if you can sell your stock without him.

 

If you can, no discount.

 

If you have spare, its your decision. That would be based on how close he is to you(catchment area/competition), can you still make profit, how quick he pays, does it all fit in with your day to day, etc, etc.

I would just try to work out the best way to sell my stock and get the best profit out if it.

 

If that means doing discounts to a bulk buyer then I wouldnt see it as a problem.

 

Its great sticking to your prices but if you have a yard full of unsold produce its worth feck all.

this is how i would be thinking

 

 

If he is a good customer selling your logs, give him a discount to keep his custom.

 

does he come and collect them? if you was delivering them how much would it cost time and fuel?

 

He could always take his money to another suppler and sell there logs to your customers???
