I will be keeping a close eye on mine when I get it back. Any murmours of it not being right and its going back for a full refund. Probably more than likely go and buy a Husky 560xpg. They seem to have ironed out most of thier problems. Unlike stihl that know they still have problematic saws out there but refuse to recall them. :sneaky2:

I can't understand why a manufacturer would deviate from a tried and trusted design ( metal cage on needle rollers ) to a plastic one without extensive testing . Beats me !

 

COST! there has most prob been other areas where they have cost cut,but this small bearing turned out to be a major defalt.......:001_huh:

Reminds me of the 80s cock up Honda had with some of their V4 bike engines . They were dubbed with the tag of having the cam shafts made by Cadburys ! ! They lasted a few thousand miles then were shot . They soon woke up and over engineered the next generation with proper heat treated cam shafts that were gear driven as apposed to chain driven . VFR 750 30, RC45 etc etc .:thumbup:
