i know theres an out fit down cheltenham / gloucester doing them as my o/h did hers down there, i was lucky and just got in before hand. it wasn't cheap, around 1500£

That's effing scandalous-think it's been turned into a money making scheme. Lookin to do mine in the next few months but lads over spoke to paid around £450 tops.

I wouldnt bother trying to do training yourself, you might pick up bad habits, they will teach you to pass a test.

When I did mine, I had one days training then the test the morning after, it was easy, just listen and you'll piss it!

Looked on Myerscoughs prospectus they do trailer training at £86 per day so I'm thinking 2 days with them then sit the test and cut out these others.:sneaky2:

Pete I'm doing mine at the minute too. £35/hr. 2 hour sessions.

Local to me and he's a good instructor teaches you all the little things that the examiner wants.

I would pay 4 to 5 hundred quite happily, but 15 hundred is just silly. I'll get a bit of practice in with the L plates first, which might bring down the training time hopefully.

i had a friend who practiced on the road with someone with the licence and L plates on. He got a fine and 3 points for the priverlage he got pulled as he had L plates on the trailer.
