I used to have one, did not do a massive amount with it, but it was very good to use.

 

They have far more splitting power than many processors, I never came across something it would not split.

Don't have one, but like the fact that you can control/activate the splitter action, i.e. if a log drops awkwardly into the chamber you can correct it, before it jams the log onto the wedge automatically and you have to fetch the hammer like alot of other processors in the same class! That circular saw action is lightening fast as well. Very efficient looking piece of kit.

ive got a 280 bought new 3 years ago fantastic bit of kit well built easy to use and with the home made log deck i have it works well,If i was to change processor i would buy a posch any day.

had a 280 for 18 month now. think its a great machine, glad i got this machine compared to other small processors in my opinion it is one of the best in its class. probably put around 3 hundred tone through it this year and the blade is still good, just wounder how many chains i would of had to sharpen in that time.

Got one Fantastic bit of kit, unkillable in normal use. If you are passing down the A68 come and have a go of ours.
