cs units, blue book stuff

Hi there, just had a friend on the phone enquiring as to what a couple of cs units are.....

 

they got there's years ago, blue book cs 20 21 22

 

he was saying that it says the new equivilants are:

 

30 32 36 37 39

 

whats 36 and 37, i've never heard of them.....

 

any help

I'm sure 36 was cross cut and stack once upon a time when I did mine, it's now part of cs30 I think, they rolled it all into one.

20,21 & 22 - thats what i got in 95.

Back then if you were going into forestry you done cs 10 & 11 and if you were going into arb you done 20 and 21, nowadays you do cs 30 & 31 for both trades.

cs10 & 11 was up to guide bar length and 20 & 21 was 1.5 guide bar length.

cs22 was using a chainsaw from a rope and harness in a tree, whats that now 38 or 39 i think.

I think too that 37 was the breaking down of hardwood crowns or something along those lines haha, basic snedding up i guess, heard it years ago, not sure if it's right tho.

38 is the aerial rescue and 39 is the in tree cutting, I know cos I am doing my 38 in a month and a bit! :-)
