I remember talking to a farmer who wanted to build a house on his land. He was constantly turned down, he then put plans in for a travellers site!

He soon received his approval to build his house.

I also have a customer who has more money than he knows what to do with, if he wants something he will throw thousands and thousands at it until he gets what he wants. I hope your neighbour isn't like this otherwise it can take over your life. Not exactly what you need. Good luck

Shipping containers in law are "portable" and exempt from planning permission. If the units have been there more than 3 years than lawfull use as "structures" and the ****** at the local council can do nothing. (does help if painted a dark colour)

I had an issue and proved how long these had been here and wrote to head man and said would sue for hassle in small claims court. Left me alone now as I called local press who called council.

In this times councils are looking for methods to raise funds so often hassle small business as think will not take them on.

All the best.
