oh dear oh dear, grow some balls a get a hitch;p i got one of the first SJ and seemed to creep but i fair used it heaps maybe the same problem. i will ask joe adam.

Bump. Getting a lot of creep on my sj now which is really unsettling. Thing is my cam looks hardly worn has anyone got any pics of a cam on its limit so I can compare? Surely someone must no more how to prevent this creep.

Washing your rope is usually a good first step. We have found that it helps in both reduction of slippage & increased rope life. (there are 7 lockjack/spyderjack users at work)

Just a thought but if using 13mm rope then there is obviously a lot more rope to grip in the device, at 11.7mm with maybe a bit of wear on the cam it is at its limit?

I should stop thinking i think lol
