hi just out of curiosity when are you all putting up your trees? as i have had to put 1 up today in halesowen due to them having a early light switch on and the rest of the trees start to go up the 15th nov.

 

i know its a bit early but makes a change from cutting them down but this has to be the earliest ive ever put a christmas tree up. its normally after remberance sunday we start

This is a slilly question I know but why not plant (Transplant) trees? I know they grow fast but surely you would get 3-4 years if maintained before you would need to replace.

 

This seams unique as we don't tend to do this in NZ. Just the house trees you by from the stalls 2 weeks before xmas.

You'd think so,

 

I think its great having xmas and not having trees and lights up everywhere,then again xmas here is the middle of summer and not dark,wet and depressing :biggrin:
