hi just wondered if other people have had problems with the zips breaking, have had to pairs where the zips have failed, (and they were correct size waist), apart from that brilliant trousers.

Yup, my bosses zip broke pretty soon after getting a new pair last year. He only got them fixed a few weeks ago too. Mine are a little older and have had no problems though.

zip on mine cable tied up,can be a bit tricky working in cold weather:001_rolleyes:

if you know what i mean:sneaky2:

but other than that great comfy trousers:thumbup:

ps,easy to rip when climbing:blushing:

They must have started buying the old pfanner stock of zips.:001_tongue:

Only ever bought one pair of the hiflex when they first came out, they ripped to bits instantly but im sure the zips were OK back then.:001_huh:

IMO hiflex are complete and utter waste of time and money , comfy, yes (but no more than some other makes) but not built for any kind of tree work, iv had two pairs both of which; ripped up the backside, melted with any kind of heat, and the ankles got ripped to shreds within a few months of scrub clearing, don't even get me started on trying to climb a confier with them, they just get hung up/ripped on EVERYTHING..

In short I wouldn't have another pair if you paid me:laugh1:
