Nice mantle. Do that yourself?

 

Yep. I got the Alaskan out for that one, I found the sides in a wood about 10 years ago near Rochdale. I thought it would come in for something! It took some lifting into the back of the hilux, it was 1 piece and I cut it in half with a stone saw. As an alternative, old gate posts cut down and old stone steps also look good.

How quick you forget dave the dog, I beleive there was afatboy on the other end of that stone. 132kv line clearance near brigg house if i remember right.:001_tongue:

The wonderful open fireplace at my girlfriends house. I just can't resist chucking anything and everything into it which I really shouldn't do but I challenge anyone to see a fire and not want to burn everything in reach:001_tongue:. Apologies for the poor photo, twas the only one I could find.
