Sprung drawbar

I have a red rock trailer with a sprung drawbar it has a 9.5 ton payload, when loaded it bounces a lot, building up a resonance giving a permanent bounce which clatters on the pickup hitch in an annoying way. The springs on the drawbar have bolts through them which could be adjusted, anyone know how to adjust them to get rid of the bounce?:001_smile:

Good question ,don't know myself .I've got a twin axle equipment trailer that does the same thing if empty .Loaded it does'nt do anything .The only help I've found is either drive above or below what speed it gets to acting like a Mexican jumping bean .It's usually between 45 and 50 miles per hour it gets the shakes .

If its an Ag trailer without air brakes it should only be doing 20mph:001_huh:
