We are looking for an apprentice to take on either full time or a minimum of 3 days a week. We work mainly in the exeter and east devon area, but sometimes further afield. Looking for someone who is willing to start at the bottom who we can train up to become a good climber.

Ideally looking for someone who has an college placement already. Basic cross cutting and aerial rescue certificates would be an advantage. Must be able to arrange your own transport.

Please send a private message if your interested.

Regards, Mat

Nice one Gibbon, we took a young lad on a while back, and he is bringing in some new skills and enthusiasm. Best thing we ever did.

I find it really rewarding passing on/sharing skills and experience with our apprentice Tom, he is like a sponge and reduces the average age of our team considerably which is great cos I'm young at heart anyway and the others are set in their ways!

John and dougey are in their fifties, im 40 in june and Gordons 37 so tom at 18 is a breath of fresh air!

This is a good opportunity for a young arb, im sure you'll find the right one too. Its never easy fitting in a new recruit to an established team.:thumbup1:

Hi Mat,

Would you consider and adult (33) apprentice with previous business experience??

And what sort of pay would you be able to offer?

Feel free to private message me back for further details but as a rough idea I have run my own (non arb related) business and am a dab hand at internet marketing and website building (should you need it).

Just looking to move into arb so dont have any certs yet but willing to pay for my own CS30, CS31, CS38 and CS39's to get me going.

Thanks

Dan

Hi Mat,

really encouraging to see folk of your calibre offering such a fantastic oportunity.

You probably already have, but if not, have you contacted Bicton college to see if there are any students looking for work placements/apprenticeships?
