so ive got a crown reduction to do on a large maple, below it is 2 conservatories one either side its approx 50 foot tall the branches arent strong enough for me to climb out on them and "cut and chuck" so i can only reach them with my pole saw. i cant just cut and drop because of the conservatories below but i cant get close enough to tie them off! what would you do?

board conservatory roof with ply.... did same yesterday with very rotten dodgy willow overhaed.. worked a treat...

 

that was my only idea nick! wasnt sure if it would work though

Can you get a mewp in ??

 

maybe a narrow one but id rather explore other options first then its not extra cost thats getting passed onto the customer

that was my only idea nick! wasnt sure if it would work though

 

i was dropping some serious lumps on those boards towards end.... 2ft long.. 4-6 inch diameter.... worked better than i expected
