Twisted Rope Help

You could give it a try.

 

Just flake the rope into a bag, or a garden trug, and see if it pays out without the twists.

 

I will definitely give it a go. I can't stand these twists any longer!

no i dont see it as a problem. im using a hc rapide so it isnt such a issue.run it over a small branch at the bottom if its a bigger branch it will be harder.

Ahh I'm using just a regular prussik, I will give it a go.

french platt the rope as you put it away ,a lad who climbs for me does it as he puts it away,baffled to how he does it or how it stops it coiling up but it works??!!

Is it like Daisy chaining the rope? or some obscure method that no one has heard of?

yep very similar to daisy chaining,dunno how it stops the rope twisting but it work.lol

Daisy chaining is good for shorter ropes. Makes my hands ache after doing 20m though!

 

I flake my rope into a bag over my shoulder, been to its full length once and close a couple times. I have 45m of xtc and it doesn't twist when it comes out the bag.
