Cerne, it would help you tremendously to go on the next Climbing get together down your end.

 

One of the problems of working in this job, especailly on your own is you don't know that your technique is not efficient.

 

Going on the get togethers and watching and learning from others is really good and you learn that you have been doing this and that wrong for years

 

...and there people there that are very happy to exchange info and techniques

We post details on here well before the event, so far at the "Northern" getogether we aim at two per year.

gloves do help. the only problem i get with gloves is that they can get caught in the friction hitch when i advance it. But i got those cheap gardning gloves...want to get some fingerless tree climbers gloves.

 

look at buxtons web site and look for gills fingerless gloves aye found them good to work with there around £30
