How very dare you :001_tt2:

I am an Englishman and as the world knows it is a god given right for an Englishman to talk and moan about the weather in equal measure :laugh1:

Back on track. Lots of rain overnight Jon just what we needed

That has to be about the worst first post I've ever read, how about trying to fit in a bit.

Overcast and drizzle in the Black Country. Bit miserable and the weather could do with brightening up too ;) !!!

... has ever seen, ever.

Since the beginning of time, ever ever!

So, before last week then.

Anyway, back to the present. Just started started, big drops of falling water but not much of it and now it's ceased. If today is like yesterday, there'll be high cloud and more sunshine than you could carry in a very large bag. And late evening, there'll be a light shower. Even if one ran around catching every drop, it probably wouldn't fill a shirt pocket.

Apart from the absence of large depressions in the landscape, to keep the lack of rain. I'm not surprised they don't have reservoirs in this part of the world. Good for those owning a parasol - not much good for those owning an umbrella.

I can see the advert now.

46yr. old umbrella, excellent condition, as has never been needed for primary use. Price when new £1 3s 4d. Free for local collection, as instruction may be needed.
