surge protector insurance should hopefully cover it ,

You'd think so wouldn't you, checked this out and the belkin insurance is for the lifetime of the surge protector which belkin consider is 5 years. This one is 7 years old!

Power gone off now so running on a Genny.

Fun and games yesterday going down continuous 1:4 with hair-pin bends, through extended forest. Snow on the fells, snow on banks and sporadic ice on road. Got the pulse racing for 50mins.

(I'll not be going that way again in a long while.)
