Varying between windy & extremely windy here. Had to drop half a dozen 40' leylandii this morning (20' from the owners house) against the wind so Scottish power could put in a pole for a new electric supply for them. It was a bit of a nerve wracking job to say the least.

Strike near house. Lost a lot of electricals. Dang.

Unlucky, only had our cordless phone zapped today, lost loads last year TV, stereo, 4 routers etc. Question now is do you replaced them immediately or wait till boxing day sales?

HI BOB how is it up now mate thanks jon

Sorry Jon, had more lightning overhead so had to unplug everything till it passed over.

Seems to be quieter here now. Not really been that bad today, certainly not the weather armegedon that they were forecasting.

Let's see what tonight and tomorrow brings, if it calms down a bit we might even have a ferry, they haven't been able to sail for the last 2 days.
